Rough Waters

Rough Waters was built in January - March 1975 at William H. Albury’s shipyard to race in the inaugural Bahamas Cup at the Family Islands Regatta held in George Town on April 24-26, 1975.  She went on to win the Prime Minister’s Trophy in 1977.  She finished first over the line in each race, but lost the overall honors on adjusted time to Good News which was 6” shorter.  The adjustment was 10 seconds/mile/foot [1].
