The story of the meat grinder goes.....
There was only one meat grinder available on MOW and like other things on the island, it was shared amongst the households. This particular meat grinder belonged to Mrs. Selina Albury and she loaned it to Mrs. Miszpat, who loaned it to Mrs. Emma, then it went to Mrs. Eurecka, Mrs. Charity and on to Mrs. Treesie. When it was time for Mrs. Selina to use it again, she went on this wild goose chase to find her grinder only to discover it was just across the street waiting for her.
A barometer - an important instrument for anyone going to sea
Mr. Haziel’s hat. This was made on Man-O-War. Note the handiwork and tight weave still evident after many years.
